Life in the eyes of a child.....

I will be the first to admit the last year has been full of ups and downs. One constant has always kept me going though... I never imagined how much of a blessing your children could be until God blessed me with my two "little men". It never fails that they keep me on my toes. From the typical brother fights, to the moments they still want to crawl in bed with me to watch a movie. Today was no different. After a very busy summer, we finally had a chance to sit down and relax this afternoon all to find the Karate kid marathon on TV. So once the movie time was over what do I find my boys doing???? It started with them playing in the sprinkler outside, and ended with the neighbor and all 3 of them wearing baseball helmets while they practiced there karate moves they learned earlier in the day watching one of the best movies of all time... As I sat back and watched them laugh, and carry on, it reminded me how life through the eyes of a child is far from the view a mother has... They have no worries, no fear, and can laugh endlessly as they play. Granted I cannot always look at life the way they do... I can always count on them to make me smile!
